BC Hockey is set to kick off the 2017-2018 hockey season by celebrating World Girls Hockey Weekend (WGHW) October 6 – 8, 2017. A number of events will be taking place around BC and the Yukon, including Esso Fun Days, the Long Game, tournaments, and other female hockey celebrations.

This is a reminder that ALL NEW OFFICIALS must attend the ice session tomorrow morning at 6:45 AM to 8:45 AM. This MANDATORY for all new officials. If they miss this skate they are deemed as being incomplete and will be unable to officiate. Only the new officials are required to be in attendance. If there are other officials who wish to attend for a refresher, they are more than welcome.

On Wednesday, September 27th at 7 pm there will be an OMHA coaches/managers meeting to discuss the upcoming season and topics such as necessary certifications, clinics, locker storage protocols, treatment of referees/officials, and the recently updated Managers Handbook (that covers almost everything). Parents are welcome to attend as well. We will try to answer any questions you may have as a coach or a manager. It is at Oceanside Place in the upstairs room.
