Referee Clinic - Sept 21, 2017

Posted by Oceanside MHA at Sep 1, 2017 12:03PM PDT

Subject: 2017 – 2018 Referee Clinic

Everyone

I hope you all had a great summer, and the hockey season will soon start. I need to know who will all be returning for this new season. I have just received confirmation that our officiating clinic will be held on 21 September starting at 5:00 pm and going until 9:30 – 10:00 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room at Oceanside Place. Please ensure you bring something to eat and drink, as there will be no food available through out the clinic. The ice session for only the “NEW” officials will be held on Sunday 24 September at 6:45 AM – 8:45 AM on Meeker Arena. The reason for this time is that some were not available for a session Friday or Monday during the day.

To register, you must go to the BC Hockey Web Site, click the “CLINIC” tab at the top of the page. Then read the complete page so you know what you are required to do to register. All “NEW” officials will have to complete the on-line modules before they will be able to register. At the completion of the modules, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. Keep this and have it ready for the clinic to prove you have completed this process.

Those who are 18 years of age or older will be required to have a valid Criminal Records Check. You will not be allowed to register without this showing up on your profile. The only CRC that is acceptable is those done on-line through the BC Hockey web site. Once you apply, you will receive a session number to show your application has ben received. Please keep this and the number for future reference.
