OCEANSIDE MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Oceanside Minor Hockey will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Oceanside Place, Multi Purpose Room. Registration will open at 7:00pm in the lower lobby with the meeting beginning at 7:30pm. There is no access to the Multi Purpose Room until 7:30 – this will be enforced.
There are a number of executive positions that will be up for election. These positions are for a two year term and are:
1st Vice President (must have served at least 11 months on the executive committee previously) – position vacant
Treasurer – position vacant
Risk Manager – position vacant
Coach Coordinator – Jordan Almond (incumbent)
Recreational Coordinator – Amy Murphy (incumbent)
Tournament/Jamboree Coordinator – position vacant
Sponsorship Coordinator – Matt Roberts (incumbent)
Development Coordinator – position vacant
Nominations should be forwarded to email@example.com no later than April 21, 2023. Nominations from floor at the AGM will not be accepted. You are welcome to nominate yourself or anyone else, and nominations for the positions currently with an incumbent will be welcome. Please attach a short bio outlining your hockey experience.
At this time, we will also be gathering names for division coordinators (U11, U13, U15, U18 Recreational). These are appointed positions so if you are interested, let us know at the AGM.
Executive year-end reports will be posted to the OMHA website under OMHA INFO – Executive Year End Reports 2022/2023. The 2022/2023 Agenda as well as the 2021/2022 AGM Minutes can also be found under the same tab.
As at previous AGM’s, we will be drawing for door prizes at the end of the meeting. You must be present to win.
1st prize – full registration paid by OMHA
2nd prize – 1/2 registration paid by OMHA
3rd prize – 1/2 registration paid by OMHA
