Montreal Canadiens Alumni vs. Loaves and Fishes Charity Hockey Event
Loaves and Fishes Food Bank is excited to present a Montreal Canadiens Alumni vs Loaves and Fishes Hockey event!
February 18th, 2018 at Nanaimo Frank Crane Arena
Come for some NHL excitement and help us provide food for those in need.
Doors open at 12:45pm. Event starts at 1:45pm.

In partnership with the Vancouver Canucks, we want to make Every Kid’s Dream come true! A chance to stand on the blueline with the starting lineup for the national anthem! How cool would that be?
For nine (9) games this season, one (1) lucky minor hockey player (one per game) will have the opportunity to fulfill their dream.

• Open to all BC Hockey players aged 9 – 14 (Atom, Pee Wee and Bantam)
• Must be registered with BC Hockey
• Winning drawings will be selected at random and notified by BC Hockey
• Nine (9) winners will be selected and an additional 5 skaters & 1 goalie will be selected for Minor Hockey Night
• Travel and accommodation are not included
• Player must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Winner will receive two (2) tickets for the game, with the option to purchase additional tickets

Coaching Certifications and Courses required by BC Hockey - great resource
BC Hockey, via the Coaching Coordinator, has made available this link which clearly shows which certifications/courses are needed for coaches taking on various teams for OMHA:

Hopefully, this will allow coaches and managers to see which credentials a coach needs for a particular level and age when coaching on behalf of OMHA.
Team photo night will be held on Nov 1 & 2 in the lobby of Oceanside Place.
Please see attached schedule for you teams time slot.
Dressing room access will only be available to the team practicing on those nights so please come dressed in your full gear. No skates are required.
Each player will get an envelope for photo night that needs the top portion completed and brought to photo night.
Each team player will get a team photo as well as an individual photo that is included with your registration.
Please complete forms for additional photos and payment.
Please be on time as there are 24 groups having photos done and unfortunately we are not able to wait for late players.
There are no retake nights for photos.
Water is the only beverage to be taken onto the bench or ice at Oceanside Place Arena.
Coffee, Gatorade, etc. causes concerns with the ice conditions.
