SUBJECT: Female “Come Try Hockey”
VIAHA will be sponsoring a Female “Come Try Hockey” program this spring at Pearkes Recreation Centre. On three Sundays between April 29 and June 3 we are inviting all Female Hockey players between the ages of 5 and 11 years to participate in a fun introduction to the game of hockey.
The attached brochure is being uploaded to the home page of our website as well as our Facebook page. We are requesting that this be distributed to all Members and Executive that may have an interest in this program. There is no cost to attend. Participation is permitted at one, two or all three sessions.
We are hopeful this will generate more interest in Female hockey. We are currently looking at other programs across the Island to help grow the game.
