COACH DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR
Just a reminder of the first coach development seminar that is scheduled for this SATURDAY, June 11 at Oceanside Place from 10:00am to 12:00pm. This two hour FREE clinic will be led by Henry Acres. The first hour will be held upstairs in the meeting room to discuss the OMHA vision – short-term and long-term development for the coming season(s). The second hour will be on the ice, focusing on fundamental concepts for leading purpose driven practices targeting skill acquisition.
Please contact our development coordinator, Jan Hendriks, at development@oceansidehockey.com for information on how to register for this exciting opportunity to help OMHA drive forward together with a clearly defined plan for strengthening the OMHA player development process. Our goals for this event are:
1. create a fun day connecting with your OMHA coaching family – opportunity to network with all coaches in the association
2. take away tools that empower your abilities – increased capacity to integrate skill development into every ice session
3. form an expanded understanding of your vital role in promoting the OMHA development process, system and goals
