RETURN TO SPORT UPDATE OCTOBER 29, 2021

Effective October 29, 2021, ALL PARENT VOLUNTEERS which includes score/clock keepers, music and fundraiser people as well as coaches, safety persons and managers, etc must have proof of their double COVID-19 vaccinations (POV) in order to enter Oceanside Place. As well as the above mentioned volunteers, ALL PARENTS AND SPECTATORS who are watching a game or practice sessions must show their POV with ID when asked to present them in the facility.

MANDATORY VACCINATION REQUIREMENT

Attached is a Bulletin from Vancouver Island Amateur Hockey Association regarding mandatory vaccination requirements for coaches/assistant coaches/ on-ice helpers/for fee instructors/team managers/safety persons/off-ice officials including scorekeepers and timekeepers, plus any persons who may have access to the dressing rooms for all VIAHA sanctioned events.

This will take effect on November 22, 2021.

Attached is a short updated memo outlining what will be happening when arriving at Oceanside Place. Please note that this document refers to only scheduled league or exhibition games at this point. Practice participants will not be screened when entering Oceanside Place.
Please note that a mask is still a requirement for ages 9+ when entering Oceanside Place and must be worn at all times. Players/coaches/spectators may remove the mask when they have entered the field of play.
