OMHA would like to congratulate the following teams for their banner wins!
• Peewee Icebreakers (female only) earned banners for coming 1st in the regular season and for winning their playoffs in the Female Peewee division, which covers all of Vancouver Island
• Peewee Oceanside Chiefs earned the banner for coming 1st in the Peewee Mid-Island Recreational Division for regular season play
• Peewee Oceanside Warriors earned the banner by winning their playoffs in the Mid-Island Recreational Division – Pool “B”
• Midget Generals earned the banner for coming 1st in the Midget Island League Competitive Division 2 for regular season play
OMHA would also like to recognize and congratulate many of our teams who came second and/or were close to winning their respective leagues and playoffs and for the many accumulated team tournament achievements throughout the year. OMHA was well represented this season…thanks to everyone who helped make it a success!!!

Thanks to the Oceanside Midget General Hockey Team
On behalf of the executive and the membership of OMHA we would like to thank the players, parents, and coaches of our Oceanside Midget Generals Hockey Team who donated proceeds from their recent bottle drive to the SOS.
$750 was split between the Caring for Kids at Christmas program and the Recreation Assistance program, enabling local children and youth to enroll in recreation activities.

One (1) lucky player will have the opportunity to fulfill their dream of standing with their hockey idols for the national anthem.
All 18,810 eyes at Rogers Arena will be on these lucky individuals as they lead the Canucks in their pre-anthem skate and take their place along the blue line.
