AGM - Registration Draws - Early Registration Exproes April 30th

Hi everyone, you may have already received notice, but I just wanted to make sure that all of you have been made aware of the change of date for the Annual General Meeting. Because of the problems with the website, the Executive Committee thought that everyone may not have been given the proper notice, so they voted to change the date to May 11, 2016. The doors will open at 7:00pm for registration with the meeting beginning at 7:30pm. The meeting will be held at the Quality Resort Bayside (240 Dogwood Street, Parksville). Please make sure and check the website at www.oceansidehockey.com to read the Executive reports and to familiarize yourselves with the Resolutions which need to be voted on.

As stated previously, the Executive positions that are up for election are: President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary/Registrar, Competitive Coordinator, Senior House Coordinator, Junior House Coordinator, Referee in Chief, Equipment Manager and Female Coordinator. Names of people interested in the positions of Divisional Coordinators will be taken and those positions will be selected at the next Executive Committee meeting.
We will be drawing for 1 full registration refund and 2 half registration refunds. You need to be present to win. Also I would like to remind you that the early registration discount will expire at 11:00pm on April 30, 2016, so your child(ren) need to be registered before that time in order to receive the discount.

A short time ago, I sent out an email asking for nominations for Volunteer of the Year. We received quite a few nominations and I wish to thank everyone who submitted a name for this award. The Executive Committee voted at their last meeting and the winner will be presented with their award at the AGM. Please join us in honoring this person, thank you.
I look forward to seeing you on May 11, 2016.
