Coaches are needed for our U11 Development and U13, U15, and U18 Competitive teams.
The coaches application can be found on the website under “Forms”, please complete and and forward to Dylan Martini at repcoordinator@oceansidehockey.com before June 30, 2021.

We are also looking for volunteers for the following positions that are currently vacant on the Oceanside Executive Committee:
2nd Vice President (must have served at least 11 months on the executive committee previously)
Secretary/Registrar
Cross Ice Coordinator
Sponsorship Coordinator
Competitive Coordinator
Development Coordinator

The executive committee needs to fill these positions as soon as possible as we are anticipating a pretty “normal” return to hockey in September.

Oceanside Minor Hockey recently had our AGM on May 19. Congratulations to Marusha Whitehead, the Risk Manager for OMHA who was selected as Volunteer of the Year. I am sure that most of you are aware of how much work Marusha put in to make sure our hockey players were able to hit the ice safely this past “not so normal” hockey season.

Oceanside Minor Hockey is happy to announce our graduating U18 Leadership and Merit award winners. Both these boys were nominated by their coach, Charles MacDonald and are exemplary examples of what the awards symbolize. The recipients for the 2020/2021 season are Brenden Jamieson for Leadership and Ethan Harvey for Merit.
Congratulations Brenden and Ethan and good luck in your future endeavors. We know that you will make Oceanside proud.

OMHA will be having their AGM on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 7:00pm.

Due to COVID-19, there will be a few changes to the meeting as OMHA is following all COVID-19 protocols that are in place. This year we will be unable to have an in-person meeting as we have had in previous years. As most of you know, ZOOM Meetings have now been the norm for many and OMHA has decided this will be our platform for the AGM.

If you wish to “attend” the AGM, I ask that you send Amy an email saying so and the email address you want used and she will add you to the invitation list. Please do not send your request to any other Executive member other than Amy. On the day of the meeting (May 19), Amy will send out the link to whomever signed up to attend. The deadline for anyone requesting to attend will be May 5, 2021 at 6:00pm. After that date and time, Amy will no longer accept any requests to attend. Please send you invitation request to Amy at secretary@oceansidehockey.com.

Also, if you have a nomination for any of the positions that are up for election this year, these names are to be sent to me at administrator@oceansidehockey.com by May 5, 2021 in order for that name to stand. There will be no nominations from the floor during the meeting. The positions that are up for election are:
